Michelle says:One question that’s been bugging me about the 3DS (and is frankly putting me off buying it) is the fact that it’s region locked.
Not only because it’ll prevent me from importing games but also because - if I’m right - I’ll no longer be able to play online with other regions, does anyone know if this is the case?

Jesse "Main Finger" Gregory says:Cartridges are region locked. Online multiplayer is not (unless the developers of the specific game you’re playing make it that way).
When playing SSFIV3D there is even a lobby setting for whether or not you want to fight people in only your region or people in all regions.
