Barrel Roll! Episode #32 - “Men Without Hats”

"Y'know that dance wasn't as safe as they said it was"
*Update* - The original file was corrupted and about a half hour of the episode was silence. Please re-download the episode, and don’t forget to enter the drawing for our PAX Pack Giveaway #2 by answering the question presented at the end of the show, “Which one counts as mine?”
On a very special thirty-second episode of Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast, the WingDamage crew of Men Without Hats gather to discuss the Uncharted 2 multiplayer Beta, the sword swinging 2D extravaganza that is “Muramasa”, and more iPhone game love from our own regular guest host Wesley Johnson.
While most of us have been playing co-op on “The Beatles: Rock Band”, Nate has been busy with the forgotten N64 gem “Beetle Adventure Racing”. Jesse and Jonah also multiplayered their way through the Xbox 360 release of “Raiden IV” for the return of our Let’s Play Together segment (two weeks in a row!).
In the news, Reggie hints at a new Kid Icarus game, giving Jonah a chance to do a dramatic reading of his quote. Not to be outdone, Jesse sets the stage for our review of Spyborgs by giving you a taste of the kind of PR letter that comes with review copies of games. Not that we’re complaining, we all got a kick out of it and I think that was their goal.
We also talk about the release of the Jedi Knight games on Steam and Jesse gives us the Mega Man News Roundup. All this and more on the latest Barrel Roll. Now, you can dance. Ya know… if you want to.
Don’t forget, this is also the home of our PAX Pack Giveaway #2! Listen to the episode for your clue on what to respond in the comments to enter!

Jesse "Main Finger" Gregory says:as interesting as the whole “live show” thing is, I think this episode went a lot better and with much more energy with all of us (except wes) in the same room like old times. With the exception of course of when people tried to enter the store and i got massively distracted while trying to talk about Muramasa.

Jonah "spambot" Gregory says:I have to agree. When nearly the whole show is in the same room it has a very different vibe.
