Oops! We Do News Now
As you probably noticed last week, there’s been a bit of a change in the flow of content here on WingDamage. Instead of every post being a large, banner-style image like the one used above, there are now smaller stories mixed in. These are, of course, “the news.”
For a long time, we only discussed news on the podcast, keeping the site’s posts based around original content. But as our schedules in life changed, we realized we needed a new way to bring you content more regularly.
Still, we never want to become a redundant site. We don’t want to regurgitate all the same news posts you can find everywhere else. That’s why we’re making our focus a bit off the beaten path. Expect to see mostly coverage of indie games and game music, along with whatever else strikes our fancy on the road less traveled.
Have no fear! This in no way replaces the original content the site is known for. Instead, the news is meant to supplement it in order to provide readers more content than ever before while still keeping their interests in mind. And if the very sight of news posts offends your eye, there’s a neat little filter in the sidebar that let’s you switch to a filtered view, excluding all news posts (except “site news” like this post) from the page.
