Barrel Roll! #132 - “Space Glasses 3: The Sacred Stones”
Space Glasses are back, and this time, it’s even more personal.
On this, the one-hundred and thirty-second Barrel Roll, Jonah and Jesse are joined by Rockin’ Android’s own Adam Milecki for an augmented cyber-future podshow. It’s no surprise that all three of the guys have been delving into the world of Deus Ex: Human Revolution since it combines man show favorites: robot arts, space glasses and Metal Gears.
But before getting into that, the new releases for the week are discussed, followed by the news. The Dragon Quest X press conference was happening during the recording, but we edited out the parts that involved the hosts watching clips, as it didn’t make for the best audio show.
They also discuss Jonah’s initial impressions of Bastion, Jesse’s brief time (so far) with the upcoming Gundemonium Collection, and Adam brings us up to speed on the latest changes to Captain Jameson. He also tells us about Thrustburst and Forget-Me-Not.

Barrel Roll! #121 - “Ghostventures”
Just because you’ve left this mortal coil doesn’t mean you have to stop having adventures. OK, maybe they won’t be regular adventures anymore. Maybe they will be something more, something intangible, something spooky. That’s right folks, we’re talking about ghostventures (but probably just video games).
After an in-depth discussion of the new games dropping this week, Jonah, Jesse, Adam & Adam talk about what they’ve been playing this week. Jesse and Jonah give differing opinions on Child of Eden, while Jonah gives the run down on the Dungeon Siege III demo. More old Game Boy games were played by the guys thanks to the 3DS Virtual Console, so there is talk as to why everyone should buy both Donkey Kong (AKA Donkey Kong ’94) and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. Adam Anania fills us in on his further adventures with GO Series Picdun and Milecki brings us up to speed on the latest Captain Jameson updates.
All this and a whole lot more on Barrel Roll! #121, “Ghostventures”.

Barrel Roll! #120 - “Contractual Obligation 3: E3 Talk 2011″
Contractual obligations are back for 2011! Once again our man on the street, Adam Anania, has been to E3, played a bunch of games, and is back to tell us all about them.
Instead of the regular news segment, the guys focus the discussion on the games and systems announced (and played) at the big show. From the new Kirby to the Vita, a lot of ground is covered.
In addition to the E3 talk, the guys discuss the new print on demand magazine 1up Presents. They also discuss the games they’ve been playing this week, which include Fortix 2, GO Series Picdun, and Jamestown: Legend of the Lost Colony.
All this and a whole lot more on episode #120 of Barrel Roll!, “Contractual Obligation 3: E3 Talk 2011″.

Barrel Roll! #119 - “Dial 1-900-Kirby”
When you inevitably get stuck on the master of all difficult game’s games, just give him a ring and he will be right there to help you solve those game tapes! ($2.99 for the first minute, $1.99 for each additional minute).
If you like SHMUP’s, then strap in. Even without an official “SHMUP Chat” segment, this episode is packed with more SHMUP’s than you can handle. Boxcellios II, Silpheed: The Lost Planet, and Shmusicup. Jonah even gets in on the action since he was able to give Acceleration of SUGURI X-Edition a try.
Not a SHMUP fan, or don’t even know what the crap I’m talking about? Fear not! Jesse also gives us the scoop on Fast Racing League while Jonah talks about his further adventures in Valkyria Chronicles and Mighty Milky Way. Adam has given into the craziness of Just Cause 2 while Adam 2 explains Farbs’ latest, Captain Jameson (still in Alpha).
As usual, the guys also talk about the week’s new releases and the news, but this week we also talk a little about what we are/were hoping to see from this year’s E3 (SPOILER: it’s not much). So sit back with your favorite drink, relax, and enjoy this extra long, extra action packed one-hundred and nineteenth episode of “Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast”. Operators are standing by!
