FOG Review: Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (PC)
“Friday Old Games” is a series of articles in which we review a game from the older generations of consoles, share why we picked it, and whether or not it holds up with time.
In 1992, when adventure games still reigned supreme with PC gaming nerds, LucasArts released one of their most beloved titles, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. It had everything a fan of both the adventure genre and the Indiana Jones movies could want.
You get to play as Indiana, traveling the world, fighting Nazis and solving the mystery of a lost civilization. What more could a fan ask for?
Barrel Roll! #117 - “Batman Jones”
On a very special one-hundred and seventeenth episode of the Barrel Roll Podshow, we are joined by not one, not three, but two Adams. Tomfoolery results.
In our standard issue “Games We’ve Played This Week” section of the show, Jonah, Jesse, and the Adams discuss a bunch of old crap that only the retro crowd probably cares about. This includes Super Mario World, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Mega Man Legends 2, X-Com, Yar’s Revenge, and the Metroid Prime Trilogy. There are also a few newer games discussed, like Inside A Star-Filled Sky and SpaceChem. Also, Jonah’s guilt drove him to purchase and play The Witcher. Also, not a new game.
In the news, we discuss our thoughts on Gotham City Imposters, and our hopes that it is a fun video game. There is also more Monster Hunter and Minecraft talk. I mean, this is Barrel Roll afterall!

Barrel Roll! #47 - “Wesley Johnson and the Fate of the Legend of the Crystal Gums”
When our heroes aren’t busy uncovering the fate of lost legends or fighting evil Nazis that are trying to use supernatural powers to take over the universe, they do this podcast. What podcast you ask? Why “Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast” my good sirs and madams!
