Barrel Roll! #52 - “Let’s Kill Mega Man!”

On a very special fifty-second episode of “Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast”, we are joined once again by The Mega Man Network’s own Adam “Heat Man” Anania. He throws down with some old school flavor on Zelda II: The Adventures of Link and Little Samson for the NES.

Wes returns with more tales of the iPhone and the adventure games he has been playing there; namely Broken Sword: Director’s Cut. Jesse finished Dark Void and Assassin’s Creed II, and also started on the anime/dog fighter, The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces. More importantly to #1 Super Fan, Russ Walsh, he has imported and tells us all about Game Center CX: Arino no Chousenjou 2 (aka Retro Game Challenge 2, if it ever came out in the states).

Jonah has both finished Mass Effect 2 and liked it so much, he started over on Mass Effect just to have a character to import (like a crazy person) for his Paragon play-through. He also received the coveted Joystiq Podcast Appreciation Group Joystick, created by Randall Smith and tells us all about it.

In the news we talk about Wii Speak and if anyone cares that Monster Hunter Tri will have a bundle with it, confirmation that the next Wii Zelda will require Wii Motion Plus, Sony “actively thinking” about charging for PSN, the recently released Sonic 4 trailer, and much more.

What music is used during the break? I’m guessing it’s Jesse’s work, but I thought it was pretty funny and would like to show it to my friends.
