Discussion: What are 2010′s “Must Play” Games?
Hello dear readers. I wanted to take a moment to address you directly today and ask the question: What are the “must play” games of 2010?
Just like last year, the WingDamage staff and I are now scrambling to catch up on all the cool releases, so we can more accurately pick our personal top tens. From indie hits like Super Meat Boy to big blockbusters like Red Dead Redemption, there were a lot of fantastic new games in 2010.
Please, let us know in the comments which games are on your must play list this year. We aren’t just looking for big mainstream releases either. If there is something out there that you know is fantastic that most people will likely never have heard of, shoot us a link. The more obscure the better!
We can’t guarantee we’ll get to play every game to completion before the end of the month, but the more we can experience, the better our top lists will be.

LHG says:First and foremost, Mega Man 10 is at the top of my list. The rest of my list consists of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Sengoku BASARA 3 (Samurai Heroes) on PS3, Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage, Monster Rancher DS, Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light, and finally Valkyria Chronicles 2.
My most recent honorable mention is ZHP, only because I’ve only scratched the surface of the game’s content and can’t speak for the entire title yet.

There were a ton of Indie games this year that stood out too. I know my personal list will be heavily skewed based on the games I actually had time to play (too much good stuff!).

Recettear is a very fun dungeon crawler with a playful storyline.
Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, a must play for Capcom fans, MvC fans, Anime fans, fighting game fans and ceiling fans.
Dead Rising 2 is a definite must play for anyone who enjoyed the original or who really thought that they could have made a game based on Shawn of the Dead with enough added content to revitalize the series.
