2 Player Review: Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3, Xbox 360, PC)
“2 Player Reviews” is a series of articles in which two members of the Wing Damage staff separately review a game, so as to give our readers multiple perspectives on the subject matter.
Player 1 - Jonah “spambot” Gregory
As a reader of comic books, and a fan of the Batman universe in general, I have been waiting a long time for a game starring the Dark Knight that was worth playing. Sure, there were a few games I enjoyed back in the day, like the NES game simply titled Batman and The Adventures of Batman & Robin for the SNES, but every venture into the realm of 3D has ended poorly.
Warning Spoilers Ahead

"Turns out it was his sled."
Are there any words that are as tempting and forbidden as “Warning Spoilers Ahead?” If you are like me there are two opposing forces that immediately begin fighting it out when you read those 3 little words. You don’t want to ruin the experience, of whatever is that’s about to get spoiled, but at the same time you want to know if the experience is worth it. What if what you find out is enough to make you think: ‘eh, this looks dumb I don’t need to play it.’ It is like jumping to the last page of a comic to see Batman standing triumphant, you are seeing a little teasing glimpse into the future and you know ‘hey, Batman makes it through all right.’
So why are so many people obsessed with finding out spoilers? Why are so many people obsessed with spoiling things for others? What is the expiration date on spoilers? Read ahead, but hey quick warning there’s some spoilers ahead.

On an extra special eighth episode of “Barrel Roll! - A Video Game Podcast”, we are up at 1am Sunday night after having a great time at Emerald City ComiCon. Thrill, as we attempt to not fall asleep while doing a con wrap up! Also, live Keytar intro featuring the demo button.
Jerry, who you might know from the Internet as Tycho Brahe, was kind enough to stop by the table. Not only did he pick up a copy of our book, but he was nice enough to do an interview with us as well. We talk about his earliest gaming memories, what he’s playing now, and what’s coming up for Penny Arcade.
But that’s not all!
