Barrel Roll #153 - “THIS IS THE REMIX!”
What’s that you say? Jesse has entered yet another remix competition?
It’s true. This week’s show is done entirely in dubstep (but not really) as we are joined once again by Mike Bachmann and Mr. Wesley Johnson. First things first, you should go back the Kickstarter for Heroes of Forevia, because it sounds rad and Jonah wants to play it.
Then it’s onward to video game chat. This week’s topics of discussion include Coderunner, Mass Effect 3‘s multiplayer content, Binary Domain, an in-depth discussion of Street Fighter X Tekken, and Jonah’s quick turn around on Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk 2.

Binary Domain Review: Do Androids Dream of Cover-Based Shooting?
In the first chapter of Binary Domain, I peeked around cover only to immediately get jump kicked in the face by a robot.
You could say that shooters are only as fun as the enemies you’re fighting against. If that’s a statement you can get behind, then you should definitely play Binary Domain. As yet another third person, cover-based shooter, it would be easy to dismiss Yakuza Studio’s contribution to the genre. But that would be a crying shame.

Barrel Roll #152 - “Adamantium Anniversary”
It’s 2012, and you know what that means? “Lost” references!
This week, Jonah is joined by Jesse and Wesley (Wes to his enemies) for discussions of Mass Effect 3, Binary Domain and the monkey high-five simulator, Rhythm Heaven Fever.

Barrel Roll! #131 - “Wes & Jonah’s Excellent Adventure”
On this one-hundred and thirty-first episode of Barrel Roll, Jonah is joined by returning guest host Wesley Johnson for a most excellent adventure. It seems even though they both graduated high school in the late 90′s, they have to gather up famous figures from history to turn in one final report so they can graduate, start their band, and save the future through bodacious music.
The show starts with the regular news and new game releases, then moves on to our “games what we played last week” segment. There the guys haven’t had time for much new stuff, but have been enjoying Borderlands as well as the SNES classic Earthbound. Jonah has also given the Onlive service a try for the first time and gives his thoughts on that.
After the main show, be sure to stick around! Jesse has just returned from PAX 2011 and is here to give his thoughts on some of the stuff he played there. All that plus more on Barrel Roll #131, “Wes & Jonah’s Excellent Adventure”.
