Barrel Roll! #135 - “Captain America’s Epic Yarn”
Bursting into action, Captain America takes on the unstoppably adorable forces of Red Skull and his giant teddy bear army in the latest episode of the Barrel Roll show!
Wes returns to tell the tale of Captain America Super Soldier. But before we can get into that it must be told that Jesse and Jonah are also back (as per usual) to bring us the latest in the same games they’ve been playing the last several weeks. This includes Disgaea 4 and Xenoblade Chronicles, but has expanded into Jesse returning to, and finishing Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies. His Dragon Quest inspired mood was brought on, not only by the recent info about part ten, but also on the fact that his import copy of Dragon Quest Collection has arrived.
In an attempt to keep things “funky fresh”, Jonah has invested some time into Jetpack Joyride and Swords & Soldiers HD as well. When he wasn’t busy pummeling Nazis, Wes also delved into Icarus and Quarrel. Two great tastes that taste great together.
All that plus the news, new games this week, and the winner of our Bastion soundtrack giveaway is picked on Barrel Roll! #135, “Captain America’s Epic Yarn”.

Barrel Roll! #115 - “5,000 Missiles Strong”
On the latest installment of the Barrel Roll Podshow, Adam 1 returns from the Nether-realms with tales of Minecraft co-op play (and trolling).
The guys decide that everything that can be said about Portal 2 without spoiling it has been said, and Jesse moves on to more insane SHMUP action with a return to Ikaruga and the 5,000 missile strong Bangai-o HD: Missile Fury. Jonah finally finishes Mega Man Legends, and realizes he did complete it back in the day after all, and moves on to much more nerdy endeavors with Magic: The Gatherin’ - Duels of the Plainswalkers and Sim City 4.
There is also much talk of Dragon Quest IX, which Adam has just started up, as well as a ton of recent XBLA demos.
All this plus news and the games releasing this week on Barrel Roll! #115, “5,000 Missiles Strong”.

Barrel Roll! #102 - “Perfect Sandwich”
On a very special one-hundred-and-second episode of ‘Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast’, Jonah is still here with no babies to show us at all. Is he making the whole thing up? How long can he keep up this charade? You’ll have to listen to find out!
Oh, and I guess we also talk about video games. Square-Enix released a whole bunch of Final Fantasy stuff and Nintendo dropped a metric crap-ton of Nintendo 3DS details. Also, Wes returns with his take on Little Big Planet 2 and The Last Express, Jesse writes about himself in the third person while playing more Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and Dragon Quest IX, Jonah tries to convince us he’s having a baby while playing Assassin’s Creed and Mass Effect 2, and Adam… well… he just listens.
All this and more on our fantastical podtacular showstravaganza.

Barrel Roll! #101 - “Old Timey Games”
On episode one-oh-one of “Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast”, Jonah, Jesse, and Adam come together to discuss the latest hot jams, like Mass Effect (the first one), Burnout Revenge, and Earth Defense Force 2017. They also go back for some unfinished 2010 gaming business with Dragon Quest IX and Valkyria Chronicles 2. Bringing it back to the present day, Adam discusses Ghost Trick and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.
We also talk about the new game releases of the week and news, then read a fan letter.

Barrel Roll #80 - “Scott Pilgrim VS The WingDamage”
On a very special eightieth episode of “Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast”, Jonah and Jesse come together with only one common goal: To not break the streak of having posted a new Barrel Roll episode every week since the show’s inception.
Crazy stuff has been going down in the real world, so the guys keep things on topic and as concise as possible this time around.

Nintendo DSi XL: THE UNBOXENING!! & Initial Impressions
When Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies came out a few weekends ago, everyone in my household played their respective copies non-stop for the first two days. Everything was going great at first, but then I started to get a horrible headache.
I started to notice that my hands were killing me. I realized that I was squinting the entire time I was playing, and the small size of the console was increasingly uncomfortable in my hands.
It was time to give in, admit that I am an old man, and grab a Nintendo DSi XL.
Barrel Roll! #75 - “The Burger Kids King Club”
On a very special seventy-fifth episode of Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast, the crew teams up with The Burger Kids King Club for a regal good time. It is up to them to defeat the evil forces of Team Edward Potter and the Vampire’s Werewolf in a battle royal for the ages. Will their secret combined power of the double rainbow be enough?
Also, video games. Also, hot jams. Possibly jellies.
